Introduction

The Atlas Geocoder manages the process of dealing with a myriad of address conventions and spellings through a series of Translation tables. These tables can be easily modified to meet your particular needs. Understanding the use of the tables can help you customize the geocoder to overcome problems like non-standard street spellings or abbreviations that are commonly found in your addresses but may not be typical elsewhere.
