Includes a national shapefile of 2020-definition census tracts with tracts designated for CRA sensitivity based upon the revised October 2023 FFIEC List of Distressed or Underserved Nonmetropolitan Middle-Income Geographies.
The shapefile format can be utilized in virtually any GIS system to help determine the likelihood that a specific location is in or near an area likely to be scrutinized by regulators for compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act. Determining the sensitivity of an area can help inform banking decisions related to branch openings, closures, consolidations, mergers and acquisitions, and sales. Prior to decisions having a CRA impact being made, a confirmation of current site status should always be made using the FFIEC online system.
This new version of the dataset is enhanced with a series of financial behavior estimates using RPM's MarketBank model. In addition to FFIEC income and economic distress indicators, each census tract includes estimates of the percentage of unbanked households and also RPM's proprietary Household Economic Resiliency score, and BranchInfo branch office counts by services provided.
Pricing is based upon a single-user. Please contact us for multi-user or site licensing if the dataset is to be used by more than one individual/workstation.
